Meet Nate

Nate is currently pursuing his JD at The George Washington University Law School in Washington, D. C. Prior to moving to Washington, Nate served as a  Fulbright English Teaching Assistant, teaching English at Obchodná Akadémia in Rožňava, Slovakia. Prior to teaching in Slovakia, Nate was selected as  a 2022 Hertog Foundation  Political Studies Fellow .  A native of Wicomico County, MD, Nate previously  represented over 172,000 of his peers as the University System of Maryland’s sole voting Student Regent. Prior to returning to the United States to begin his term as Regent, Nate interned at UNESCO ’s International Headquarters in Paris, serving within the Social and Human Sciences Sector as Salisbury University’s 2019 Bosserman - UNESCO Fellow. Following his time in France, Nate moved to Poland and began learning Polish as a Boren Awards Scholar.
